Versatile. frost proof with a good range of finishes it's an architectural favourite. It has regular holes and veins giving a natural imperfect feel in textured finishes that other stones just don't have. Sandblasted gives good texture for slip. the process takes the colour out but opens the holes. veins and fossils to give interest.
